Mallorey Wallace, 17 of Nashotah, Wisconsin participates in the 2018 Women's March Rally outside of the Milwaukee County Court House on Saturday January 20th. Wallace is marching for the first time with her mother "because I live in a very conservative community and I've always felt like a fish out of water. I think it's really important to come together with like minded people and raise each other up, specifically women of color who have been oppressed for so many years. And as a white person I think it's very important to understand what my privilege means and that white silence is essentially standing with what's wrong. In 2018 I would love to see more acceptance of trans women of color. I think the violence against trans women of color is a huge issue right now and it's being overlooked in the government."
